Hello!
I'm Felipe Leoni, a graphic artist living in Curitiba, Brazil. My work exists somewhere between graphic design and visual arts, combining design principles with artistic expression. I started out as a graphic designer, but over time, my path has organically expanded into a more diverse practice, including illustration, painting, animation and art direction.
I’m drawn to sensitive themes, quiet ideas, and whimsical images that feel like they come from somewhere honest. Nature often finds a way into what I do. I love using patterns and grids as a base to build intricate compositions, especially when they bring a sense of wonder or contemplation to what I do.
I like to work with different materials, combining analog and digital techniques. I’m also a painter, with a particular affinity for gouache. My process often involves using gouache with pencil crayons, acrylics, and digital manipulation, resulting in pieces that are rich both visually and conceptually.
In 2024, I became part of the Lithography Studio at the Museum of Printmaking in Curitiba, located in the historic Solar do Barão. This experience deepened my appreciation for traditional printmaking and enriched the way I approach my own work.
When working on commissioned projects, my goal is to create something thoughtful, meaningful, and tailored to its purpose. I believe good work comes from genuine collaboration, where both client and artist feel seen, respected, and creatively fulfilled.
If my work resonates with you and you're interested in collaborating, please feel free to contact me.
